Is there a deposit to hold my date?

Yes, upon booking we ask for a signed contract and a deposit. The deposit is non-refundable and the amount varies depending on the date and ballroom you select.

When is the final payment due?

The final payment for the wedding is due before Noon 7 business days prior to the event. We would set up a final meeting at that time to review your event details, get your guest count and take care of final payment.

When do I need to get the final number of guests in?

The final numbers are needed when you come in for your final appointment 7 business days prior to the event.

Can I use my own caterer?

We do all the food in house so we do not allow anyone to bring their own food in. We allow candy for wedding favors, but all other food must be purchased through Canadian Honker Events Apache. All Alcohol must be bought through Canadian Honker Events at Apache as well.

What is included in the food minimum?

The food minimum required includes any food that you would like throughout the night. This would cover hors d’oeuvres before dinner, a plated or buffet dinner and snacks during the dance, as well as punch. Some events choose to do a hors d’oeuvres reception instead of a sit-down dinner.   Any bar service, does not go towards this minimum.

Does Canadian Honker Events at Apache do all the decorating or can we do it ourselves?

We provide complimentary floating candle centerpieces, white, black or ivory table linens, and colored napkins complimentary. We do have some decorating packages for an extra charge that we would be happy to do for you. You are more than welcome to bring in your own decorations and do it yourself. You can also hire any outside decorating company. We do have some companies that we could refer to you.

Can we have our rehearsal dinner with Canadian Honker Events at Apache also?

Yes, there is no set up fee to have your rehearsal dinner here in one of our ballrooms. Smaller dinner parties can also use a portion of our on-site restaurant.

Does the Kahler at Apache have a special rate for out-of-town guests staying in the hotel?

There are special rates for doing a block of rooms in the hotel. These rates are subject to change so please contact the hotel sales office for the rate.

Do you offer space to do a ceremony?

We have two ballrooms, so it is an option to have your ceremony in one ballroom and have your reception in the other, or you can do your ceremony and reception in the same ballroom and flip the set up between the two.

What complimentary centerpieces do you offer?

We include a mirror tile and three votive candles with each centerpiece. There are three centerpieces to choose from: the rose bowl, the 3-tiered cylinder vases or the 3 mason jars. All three include colored marbles, water and a floating candles. There are pictures of these centerpieces on our Facebook page.

If I have a special menu in mind, can the chef accommodate it?

Our chef is very good at accommodating special menus or coming up with a custom dinner for your event. The menus are to get you started – but if you have any special requests we would love to accommodate you.

Is there special pricing for having our wedding reception on a Friday?

There is a discount for the set up fee as well as a lower food minimum for doing your reception on a Friday night. Please contact us for pricing.
